The Client
Jackie Barker, founder, and CEO of Barefoot Design Collective has an outstanding website design and graphics company. She found her business growing at a rapid rate and quickly discovered she was working with a CRM that needed to be updated.
This was something she thought she should be doing (because she knows how to) but knew she shouldn’t do (because there are better uses for her time).
The Problem
Jackie partnered with Sharon, of Sharon Blalock OBM, to help her overcome the following challenges.
Update CRM (Dubsado) Templates – During the course of building the business, Jackie had revised processes and packages, and the email templates, contracts, proposals, and questionnaires needed to be cleaned up and updated in Dubsado.
Update CRM (Dubsado) Workflows – Dubsado workflows needed to be updated and workflows for new products needed to be created.
The Solutions
Sharon worked with Jackie to implement the following solutions.
Solution for CRM Templates –Sharon went through all the templates in Jackie’s Dubsado system and determined, with Jackie, what was current and what was outdated. Sharon cleaned up the current templates and they determined what new templates needed to be created and put those in place before workflows could be created.
Solution for CRM Workflows –Sharon, along with Jackie, determined which workflows were not being utilized and could be deleted. Sharon then went through the current workflows to ensure the steps were working correctly in the most efficient way. Sharon suggested using a Contact Form on the Barefoot DC website to trigger leads to activate the workflows. New workflows were mapped out, created, tested, and put into place.
The Results
The results of the partnership helped Jackie achieve more productivity, become more focused, have less stress, and make more money.
Sharon immediately jumped in and not only updated Jackie’s Dubsado CRM but ensured the processes were the most efficient they could be. The time Sharon saved Jackie was remarkable.
Sharon’s status reporting was outstanding. I always knew where she was in the project, and I didn’t have to ask her if she needed anything from me. She would let me know if there was a task I needed to tackle and put a deadline on it, which was extremely helpful for me since I was so busy with my client work.
